The Silver Goddesses

The Silver Goddesses are Geldariel, the Goddess of Efficacy, Heshiekah, the Goddess of Secrets, and Valari, the Goddess of Valor, the chief gods and creators of Termina. It is understood that the Silver Goddesses have always existed, and that they are omnipotent and eternal. Though the Silver Goddesses are the most important gods of Termina, they are rarely mentioned by characters in the games, and most races worship their own patron deities.

Cosmogenesis

The three deities of Efficacy, Secrets, and Valor are first mentioned in The Legend of Zelda: Realms of Shadow, wherein the Great Deku Tree of Kivka Province reveals to Link the cosmogony of the realm: "Before time began, before spirits and life existed... Three Silver goddesses descended upon the chaos that was Termina... Geldariel, the Goddess of Efficacy... Heshiekah, the Goddess of Secrets... Valari, the Goddess of Valor... Geldariel... With her strong sculpted arms, she cultivated the land and created the red earth. Heshiekah... Poured her hidden knowledge onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world. Valari... With her rich soul, produced all life forms who would uphold the law." It is explained that the three Goddesses are responsible for the existence of Termina and the Sacred Realm, and all their inhabitants. It is revealed that before time began and the cosmos was a void of chaos, the three Goddesses appeared amidst the chaos and began the creation of Termina. Geldariel created the material realm, Heshiekah gave the realm order, and Valari created all life forms. It is also revealed that the essence of the Silver Goddesses is the source of the Silver Power within the sacred relic, the Trifury.

Geldariel, The Goddess of Efficacy

Geldariel... With her strong sculpted arms, cultivated the land and created the red earth.
Realms of Shadow

Geldariel created the bare earth and shaped the featureless land, forming its topography. When she was through, towering mountains, profound chasms, and great expanses covered the surface of her creation. With her work completed, from an ingot of her infinite celestial power, Geldariel formed the Trifury of Efficacy, the embodiment of her supremacy. Whosoever would hold this relic would be imbued with the essence of Geldariel, granting its holder her blessing, and efficacy unmatched by any mortal. This makes the wielder immensely powerful, granting vast strength, and amplifying their mystical power.

Attributes

As the Goddess of Efficacy, Geldariel is associated with themes that exemplify dominion. She is believed to be the Sand Goddess worshiped in the Spirit Temple, due to her role in creating the land. She shares a connection with Nature with her sister Valari, who is associated with life and tranquility. Geldariel is also associated with rhythm, such as the cycle of seasons and the art of dancing. Geldariel seems to be represented by harsh climates and the ability to endure such through dominance, as exemplified in the magic spell Geldariel's Control.

Heshiekah, The Goddess of Secrets

Heshiekah... Poured out her hidden knowledge onto the land, and gave it the spirit of law.
Realms of Shadow

Heshiekah is the source of the laws that govern the realm in which Termina exists. Once her sister Geldariel had completed the creation of the physical realm, Heshiekah began establishing order within the realm. Heshiekah illuminated the firmament of the sphere with her divine knowledge, and founded the fundamental laws of the realm. Once she had finished, taking a thread of her hidden knowledge in hand, Heshiekah formed the Trifury of Secrets, the embodiment of her omniscience. Whomever would possess the Trifury of Secrets would be instilled with the essence of Heshiekah, and her blessing, granting them knowledge unparalleled.

Attributes

As the Goddess of Secrets, Heshiekah is associated with law and order. She is believed to be the Goddess of Gates due to her role in setting the realm in order and her association with the hidden ways of the dimensions. Heshiekah is also associated with the many paths one may take, and therefore, with destiny itself. She is also associated with string instruments, and singing. Heshiekah seems to be represented by shadows, riddles, or hidden things, as exemplified in the magic spell Heshiekah's Cloak.

Valari, The Goddess of Valor

Valari... With her rich soul, produced all life forms who would uphold the law.
Realms of Shadow

Valari is the source of all life that exists within the Terminan realm. Once her sisters had finished creating a realm suitable for sustaining life, Valari created the life forms that would inhabit it. Valari breathed life onto the barren earth and into the seas, creating grasses, trees, vines, and all other manner of vegetation, transforming the barren plains into verdant fields, and flourishing woodlands abounding with animal life. Valari then formed all of the diverse people of Termina. With her works completed, Valari drew a portion of her divine spirit, and produced the Trifury of Valor. The holder of the Trifury of Valor would be imbued with the blessings of Valari, and tenacious spirit unrivaled by any other, striking fear into the holder's enemies.

Attributes

As the Goddess of Valor, Valari is associated with chivalry and heroism. She is worshiped as the Goddess of Light, according to Tingle in Realms of Shadow. Valari is also associated with healing and compassion. Valari seems to be represented by the blue sky, light, or forest, as exemplified in the magic spell Valari's Light. She shares a connection to the Earth with her sister Geldariel.

Gossip Stones

These ancient and odd devices do many a useful (and senseless) thing. When you slash one with your sword it will tell you what time it is, or how much time you have left.

If you place a bomb next to one it will shoot off like a rocket. You can also change the color of the stone this way, when the bomb changes to either blue or red, hit it with your sword. You can smash them into the ground using your Megaton Hammer. By using Din's Fire on one, the Stone will spin around and inexplicably stretch to double its height, soon snapping back to normal. After putting on the Mask of Truth you are able to speak to them.

Gossip Stones say a variety of things. Some information is helpful, and other information is typical conversational dialog.
