Ocariana of Time 3D/Lake Hylia Laboratory

I noticed the boat hanging on the ceiling in the building has Hylian letters on it where the name of a boat would be. Would someone that knows Hylian and Japanese and has OoT3D please translate it. Not only do I think it will be an interesting contribution, but I'm just plain curious. Zelda4life 21:56, 30 June 2011 (EDT)

Hi Zelda4life! I just took a look at the side of the boat and it says "ra ru ya u / ne no sa ho" in romanised Japanese. I have no idea what that means, but hopefully someone with a good understanding of Japenese will come along to help us out! SuperSonicConzor 20:12, 7 August 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OoT 3D Translations 2nd Feb 2013

Hi all. I've just been adding some text from Lon Lon Ranch and other places in OoT 3D to the page using my copy of Hyrule Historia. Unfortunately, I can only provide the direct romanised Hylian so I don't know what some of the words mean. Please feel free to fill in the gaps I've left :) SuperSonicConzor

Hi SuperSonicConzor. Thanks for adding those translations. Most appreciated. I translated them best I could, but I seem to have some trouble with the "Sign in Chicken Pen" text. You wrote "taron no miru kushi yo tsufu" and I'm pretty sure that the first part is supposed to be "taron no miruku (タロンのミルク)", but I can't make any sense out of the rest. Maybe it's just me and my Japanese just isn't good enough for this, but would you be so kind to double-check that one? The only thing I could guess is that it could mean "Jiyoubutsu (滋養物)". By the way, you can sign your comments on talk pages with 4 tilde signs (like this ~~~~) and your Username and date will be added automatically to your text. Hello Bakeneko! Thanks so much for translating that romanji... not being able to understand read it myself, I couldn't make head nor tails of it! I'm sorry for the extravagantly late reply, but I've only just noticed your post! In response to your query, I went back and double checked the Hylian script. As I couldn't make out the spacing between the words on the sign, I'll leave it like this: "Ta ro n no mi ru ku shi yo tsu fu". It's pretty much impossible to tell where each word starts and ends from the texture, but we know know the characters exactly. I hope that helps! Missing Translation

How about Zelda's Letter? --Smighty 09:55, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can someone please add the rest of the aLBW text?

The sign in Thieves' Town, Kakariko etc. I think they simply say Thieves, Kakariko but I'm not sure without checking. Then there's the "sold out" sign in Ravio's. There's probably more too. Avengah (talk) 14:09, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

There's more in Hyrule Castle. Above the five paintings and also below them, in much smaller text. Avengah (talk) 14:30, 8 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The Hyrule Castle paintings appear to say "NUMER ONE" to "NUMER FIVE". Kakariko (two signs, one at south of Kakariko and one south of the Fortune Teller) does say Kakariko, and Thieves' Town's signs (at the same locations) are barely legible. If someone can somehow get a better angle to read the signs, we may be able to decipher them. If you merge with the wall by the northern sign, then press Home at the right time, you can get a different, closer angle (with the sign reading vertically from top to bottom) but it's still hard to make it out. You can press Game Notes to view the top screen while the game is paused without there being any obstructions there. Avengah (talk) 17:02, 9 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't have the game yet, but will definitely check out those areas once I do. Don't forget Miiverse is coming to 3DS this week which might give us the oppurtunity to upload screenshots from the game! Currently, I'm taking close up photos of my 3DS screen with my phone and then resising / angling them on Photoshop when I want to add Hylian Text from OoT3D to the Wiki, so you could always do that if taking screenshots won't be included on the update. Then the rest of us can see the characters. I'll try my best to see what that text says! Also, I attempted to translate the text on the Master Sword Pedestal and Bird Statues but couldn't match up all the characters. I have a sneaky feeling that some text in the game is in Skyward Sword Hylian, but I'll have to check that too. Thanks for the heads up! Split

This page is huge and messy. I suggest we move each game section into its own subpage and have this article link to all of them. We've already done that with the normal translation pages (eg. The Adventure of Link Translations). — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  14:07, 1 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I agree- this article has definitely got a bit messy. Furthermore, each game should have a standardised table complete with images and Hylian text via template. Well done for adding a lot of translations to the OoT3D sections too! SuperSonicConzor (talk) 17:23, 3 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sounds good. — Hylian King [*] 02:15, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Done, as of yesterday. — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  16:26, 16 February 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

SSB4 (WiiU) WindWaker Ganondorf's sword Hylian

There is Hylian on the blades of Ganondorf's swords on his Wind Waker trophy for the game and the Hylian is different from the one on his Wind Waker model of his sword(s).

Would this require a Smash Bros HL Translation page to be added? --Aelvir (talk) 15:40, 23 October 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
