"One-Hit Wonder!" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
At South Akkala Stable, Link can find Parcy repeatedly striking a Rare Ore Deposit in an attempt to break it.[2] When he approaches her, she becomes defensive, claiming that she will be the one to take the Gems from inside.[3] She asserts that the reason she has not broken it open yet is because her hands are sweaty, and her grip is therefore not as firm.[4] Sensing that Link does not believe her, Parcy angrily challenges him to smash the Rare Ore Deposit in only one swing, promising him all of the Gems inside if he can do so.[5] Due to her own strength with her sword, Parcy does not think Link is able to do so.[6] Following their conversation, "One-Hit Wonder!" will begin.
Using a Hammer-type Weapon or a Bomb Flower, Link will be able to destroy the Rare Ore Deposit in a single strike. Parcy is annoyed, claiming that she was only joking when she told him to break it.[7] She notes that while she was only using her arm muscles, Link used his "brain muscles" as well.[8] Parcy congratulates Link, and she allows him to keep the Gems as she promised.[9] Afterwards, "One-Hit Wonder!" will be completed.
