First Day
In Majora's Mask, the First Day is the first of the three total days that Link has before the Moon crashes into Clock Town and destroys all of Termina. From the moment that Link exits the Clock Tower, the young hero and Tatl count with 72 whole hours to complete different tasks. Link always starts his First Day in front of the entrance of the Clock Tower in South Clock Town regardless of where he was prior to playing the Song of Time, since that is the location that the melody always takes him to.
During the First Day, the citizens of Clock Town seem at ease, making their preparations for the Carnival of Time while the weather is clear and sunny. Some of the townsfolk seem a bit concerned about the size of the moon and make some comments about it; however, this is the least of their concerns since they have other business to take care of. Their attitude is reflected by the cheerful and bright theme of Clock Town.
