Link is the protagonist of the game and it is up to him to save Hyrule from the clutches of Vaati with the help of his talking cap, Ezlo.

Zelda

Princess Zelda is the King of Hyrule's daughter and a childhood friend of Link.

Ezlo

At first he appears to be a green hat who helps Link on his adventures but all is not as it seems.

• Chiruta – A non-canonical Mountain Minish from The Minish Cap manga. He helps Link in his quest to get the Fire Element.
