A list of the main and supporting characters in The Minish Cap.
Main Characters
Link
Main article: Link
Link is the protagonist of the game and it is up to him to save Hyrule from the clutches of Vaati with the help of his talking cap, Ezlo.
Zelda
Main article: Princess Zelda
Princess Zelda is the King of Hyrule's daughter and a childhood friend of Link.
Ezlo
Main article: Ezlo
At first he appears to be a green hat who helps Link on his adventures but all is not as it seems.
Vaati
Main article: Vaati
The evil demon Vaati makes a return to Zelda games as the last boss.
Secondary Characters
Smith
Main article: Smith
Smith is the grandfather of Link and a friend to King Daltus.
King Daltus
Main article: King Daltus
The King of Hryrule and Princess Zelda's father.
Minister Potho
Main article: Minister Potho
He is the King's adviser and helps Link at the start of his quest.
Minish
- Gentari – The forest elder of the Picori in Minish Village.
- Librari – An elder who lives in Hyrule Town, and Gentari's twin brother.
- Melari – The swordsmith Minish in Melari's Mines, and has the authority to give permission to go to Cave of Flames.
- Festari – The Minish priest that guards the entrance to Deepwood Shrine.
- Forest Picori – Minish who live in Minish Village, under the command of Gentari.
- Town Picori – Minish that live amongst Hyrule Town.
- Mountain Picori – Minish that hide out in Melari's Mines.
- Belari – A Minish who lives outside Minish Village in Minish Woods, and who sells bombs to travellers.
- Jotari – A friend of Librari who doesn't make an in-game appearance, but is mentioned once by Librari.
- Chiruta – A non-canonical Mountain Minish from The Minish Cap manga. He helps Link in his quest to get the Fire Element.
Other Characters
Hyrule Town
- Mayor Hagen – The mayor of Hyrule, and a collector of odd masks.
- Anju – A young woman who lives in Hyrule Town, and is unable to keep her cuccos from escaping.
- Gorman – A gruff but obedient house renter.
- Hurdy-Gurdy Man – He teaches Link how to fuse Kinstones.
- Carpenters – By fusing certain Kinstone pieces, Mutoh's carpenters will construct various buildings all over Hyrule Town. Their names are Bremor, Brent, Doyle, and Mack.
- Postman – The postman in Hyrule who always arrives on time with the mail.
- Stamp – A hard working postman at the Post Office.
- Marcy – Second in command at Hyrule's Post Office.
- Emma – The inn keeper at the Happy Hearth Inn. Inside the inn, Link can meet Bindle and Satchel.
- Romio and Julietta – A young man and a young woman that live in Hyrule Town and plans to marry each other. Romio lives with his little sister (Berry), while Julietta lives with her mother (Verona) and her little brother (Jim). Romio's pet dog is named Rolf and Julietta's cat is named Scratcher.
- Vassals – The servants of King Daltus.
- Carlov – A Mysterious Shell collector, who shelters in Hyrule Town.
- Borlov – A gambler, and the brother to Carlov. Anton is a young man who can always be found near Borlov's shop.
- Beedle – A resident of Hyrule who is able to find and sell many types of Picolyte.
- Brocco – The vegetable seller in Hyrule who has a grudge against Pina.
- Pina – The fruit seller in Hyrule who has a grudge against Brocco.
- Mama – The young lady that owns the Cafe in Hyrule Town. Inside her cafe, Link can meet Gepper, Herb, Jasmine, Breve, Chai, and Baris. Outside, near Mama's Cafe, Link can find June, a young woman.
- Maggie and Paige – The two women that holds the Royal Hyrule Library. Klaus, an elderly man, can often be find inside the library.
- Sturgeon – An elderly man who spends most of his days in the library. It seems that Sturgeon works in the Royal Hyrule Library.
- Simon – A resident of Hyrule Town, who runs a shop called Simon's Simulations.
- Tina and Dina – Twin sisters that are teachers at Funday School. Erik, Harrison, Jim, and Joel are among the pupil who attends the Funday School.
- Berry and Leila – Two girls that attend the Funday School. Leila, the one with blonde hair, is Simon's daughter.
- Zill – A little kid in Hyrule Town who wishes he could go to the Funday School. Zill is often seen with two other kids, Lolly and Candy. Candy makes an appearance in the fourth chapter of The Minish Cap manga, "Ezlo and Vaati".
- Stockwell – The well-stocked shop keeper in Hyrule Town. His pet dog is named Fifi.
- Dr. Left – A scholar, who is always annoyed if somebody bothers him while he researches, and always has overdue books.
- Rem – A shoemaker in Hyrule Town who always dozes off during work times.
- Wheaton & Pita – A couple of bakers in Hyrule Town.
- Purry, Growler, Dottie, Klaus; Marshall, Keeley, Anton, June, Sheila; Edmond, Guts, Joe, Martin, Match, and Monty are among the other inhabitant of Hyrule Town. Most of them are featured on the Peaceful Hyrule's set of figurines.
Oracles
- Farore – A young lady who resides in the Happy Hearth Inn along with Din and Nayru.
- Din – A young lady who resides in the Happy Hearth Inn along with Farore and Nayru.
- Nayru – A young lady who resides in the Happy Hearth Inn along with Din and Farore.
Hyrule Field
- Blade Brothers – Nine swordsman technique teachers, found in various areas of Hyrule.
- Eenie & Meenie – Farmer brothers that tend to the land of Eastern Hills.
- Tingle Brothers – They believe fusing Kinstones will help them meet fairies, so they are recording Kinstone data on their maps.
- Syrup – A potion maker, who lives in Minish Woods, selling mushrooms as well as potions.
- Percy – A poet who lives in Western Woods, but is too scared to return as Monster Lady has resided in his house.
- Monster Lady – Actually a Moblin, Monster Lady resides in poor Percy's house must avoid sunlight.
- Crenel Hermit – A hermit who resides in a cave on Mount Crenel.
- Business Scrubs – Link must fight Business Scrubs to buy items.
Lon Lon Ranch
- Malon and Talon – They live at Lon Lon Ranch, but are locked out of their house because Talon has lost the key.
- Epona – Link can buy milk from Malon and Epona in Hyrule Town.
- Elsie – A cow at Lon Lon Ranch. Link can fuse Kinstones with it if he is in Minish form.
- Gorons – Eight Gorons appear through the game. Six of them appear in a cave near Lon Lon Ranch trying to break down rock walls. The two other being Biggoron and a Goron merchant.
Royal Valley
- King Gustaf – One of Zelda's ancestors, who appears to Link in Lake Hylia and the Royal Crypt.
- Dampé – The graveyard digger at Royal Valley.
- Spookter and Spekter – They are nice ghosts. Spekter stays in the Royal Valley's graveyard, while Spookter goes out to Hyrule Town.
- Gina – One of the few nice ghosts who lives in her grave in Royal Valley, who happily fuses Kinstone with Link.
Great Fairies
- Great Butterfly Fairy – The great Butterfly Fairy of Minish Woods who provides Link with a larger Wallet.
- Great Mayfly Fairy – The great Mayfly Fairy of Mount Crenel who provides Link with a larger Bomb Bag.
- Great Dragonfly Fairy – The great Dragonfly Fairy of the Royal Valley who provides Link with a larger Arrow Quiver.
Wind Tribe
- Siroc – The female leader of the Wind Tribe.
- Gregal – A sick old man, who lives in the Cloud Tops. Curing him will give the curer a big reward.
- Gale and Hailey – Sisters who were trapped at the entrance to Cloud Tops.
- Stranger – A member of the Wind Tribe who lives in Hyrule Town.
- Strato – A man found on the bottom floor of the Tower of Winds.
- Caprice – A woman found on the second floor of the Tower of Winds.
- Flurris – A big woman found on the third floor of the Tower of Winds.
- Zeffa – A bird that can warps Link to any one of the 8 Wind Crests, when summoned by using the Ocarina of Wind.
