I just realized, there's actually a decent amount letters in the Zelda series. Would a category for Letters, instead of the letter list in this article, be plausible? --Douken 10:18, 5 April 2008 (EDT)
- That would require a different article for every letter, and honestly, I'm not sure there's enough content for any of the letters that appear in the games to justify having its own article. --Ando (T : C) 23:11, 5 April 2008 (EDT)
- But according to this article there are already at least 5 others, and I'm sure we'll find one or two more lurking around? After all, I know subcategories of Items which already exist that have less items than this: Category:Magic Restoring Items. - Yeah, I think it best if we subdivide it like the other articles where multiple of the same type of item appear: see wallet and boomerang. Also, you're right Adam, Christine's letter from LA isn't mentioned, but guess what, all mentions of it redirect here... Same problem that I mentioned with Old Man. :P. - Now Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am almost positive that I posted at least one letter in one of the postboxes in Windwaker. It had to do with the moblin and that one girl... Maggie, was it?--Magnus orion 20:52, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- Windfall... And yes it was maggie, check her page. You take the letter from her and put it in the mailbox. Than the postman tries to deliver a reply, but the father, for some reason, hates postmen and kicks him out. The Postman is distraught and gives the letter to link, and Link takes the letter to Maggie, who reads the letter, which says that the moblin wants to eat her, but she interprets it differently as a proclomation of love.--Magnus orion 21:04, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I remember that whole side-quest (it's a great one :D); I was actually asking what you meant by "I posted a letter in a postbox in TWW". Did you mean that you actually did this in-game, or that you wrote about it on the Wiki? --Ando (T : C) 21:09, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

- Ah, the Priority Mail isn't mentioned on the page either, is it? Yes, yes... Well, I'm sure you know more about the LA and OoA stuff than I do (I haven't beaten either of them yet), so you'd have to do that stuff. Merge?
Maybe we should merge all the different letters in the "See Also" subsection into this article? Most of the other articles consist of less than a full paragraph. --Ionizer (t c) 07:42, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

- Sounds great to me, this is pretty much the reason i put the comparible items line in the item template. I'm going through the entire Items Category and finding articles like this. The many dungeon keys are another to think about. But anyway, I'm all for the merge. In the cross reference section I'd say to leave "Letter Sorting" and some other postal related articles.
