Wait a second perhaps his name is a tribute to Gomess the father of the adams family?

It might be, but that was spelt "Gomez". --Yuvorias

Gomess...sounds to me like this creature might be a girl. In my experience, 9/10 creatures that end with 'ess' are female. Does anybody else agree? I'm kind of tempted to change the article to suit this... --Yuvorias

I don't remember, but is it directly referred to as "Lord of Keese" in the game? If it was female, then "Lady of Keese" would seem to be a more title. --Douken 07:56, 5 April 2008 (EDT)

I'm fairly sure, I have to say, that it is not actually called the Lord of Keese in-game. I think it's a fan-given title. I'd have to double-check to make sure of that, but I'm fairly sure I'm right. ----Yuvorias 12:37, 6 April 2008 (EST)

Using the magic of text dumps, I can confirm that "Lord of Keese" appears nowhere within the game; nor, even, any title with the word "Keese" in there. --Ando (T : C) 23:09, 5 April 2008 (EDT)

Well, there we have it. So, are we going to alter the article? ----Yuvorias 13:16, 6 April 2008 (EST)

I'd say absolutely not. In-game, the only pronoun used to refer to Gomess is "it". And its voice sounds decidedly non-female to me. --Ando (T : C) 23:20, 5 April 2008 (EDT)

True enough. ----Yuvorias 13:27, 6 April 2008 (EST)

Theory

It would seem that this is the Terminian version of the Death Sword in Twilight Princess because of the demonic aspect and the connection with Keese/Bats. ----Macbook5 13:27, 22 August 2009 (EST)

No, that's more like a theory. If you want to add in a comparision to the similarities, do so neutrally such as "Bears resemblance to..." etc. Axiomist (talk) 05:59, 23 August 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Keese or Bad Bats?

A couple pages here seem to contradict each other. Are the bats which cover Gomess Keese, or Bad Bats? Jimbo Jambo 23:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It doesn't really matter. Bad Bats are simply Terminian Keese. But, since your asking, they are in fact Bad Bats that surround Gomess. — ᏒᎬᎠᎬᎪᎠ64 10:06, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Theory

The theory on this page reads like complete fanfiction to me, with no substantiating evidence. What do you guys think?KrytenKoro (talk) 23:23, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I agree that this page would be improved by the removal of the baseless, boring and completely uninformative theory. Why do even allow theories to be added? They really need to be scrutinized more carefully when added. Champion of Nayru (talk) 05:02, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
