Royal Guard's Swords are Weapons that are part of the Royal Guard's Series.[4] They are replicas of the Master Sword made with Sheikah Ancient Technology to oppose the Great Calamity, but they were unsuccessful due to their low durability.[1] They are commonly found in Hyrule Castle, both scattered about and being wielded by Enemies.

The Royal Guard's Sword is one of several Items of the Royal Guard's Series that can be given to Parcy to complete "The Royal Guard's Gear" Side Quest.[5][6] As a reward for completing the quest, Parcy will give Link a Gold Rupee.[7] Afterwards, whenever Link speaks to Parcy while carrying a Royal Guard's Sword, she will ask for it in exchange for a Ruby.[8]

Since they are metallic, Royal Guard's Swords will attract Lightning if equipped during a Thunderstorm, and they are also capable of conducting Electricity. They can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune, which is useful since they will sink in Water. Finally, Royal Guard's Swords will not burn if exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
