Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
The Goron Hot Springs are a small collection of Hot Springs that are situated along the Mountain Road between Stolock Bridge and the Bridge of Eldin in Eldin Canyon. They are denoted as by the seventh Death Mountain Marker, which describes them as world-renowned.[4] At their eastern end, there is another Sign pointing travelers towards Death Mountain and the Bridge of Eldin.[5] The Goron Hot Springs are heated by the Lava flow from Death Mountain, though Gorons consider them to be too cold.[6][7] As Hot Springs, the Water is warm and will gradually recover Link's Hearts as he sits in it. If Link stands in the Goron Hot Springs, he will be able to avoid catching on Fire due to the Scorching Climate. To safely traverse the Scorching Climate, Link requires one level of Flame Guard.
Two Gorons inhabit the Goron Hot Springs. One is Grapp, an elderly Goron who complains that the Water only feels lukewarm to him.[7] He also suggests that Link stay away from the Divine Beast Vah Rudania lest he get burned.[8] However, he also reveals that the Bridge of Eldin is currently unavailable, since Bludo raised it to prevent Vah Rudania's advance.[9]
Grapp's grandson, Dugby, can also be found at the Goron Hot Springs. During the day, Dugby sits in one of the Springs, but due to his mouth being submerged underwater, his spoken words come out as gurgles.[10] Dugby tells Link that he has hidden a treasure near the Bridge of Eldin, initiating the "Death Mountain's Secret" Side Quest.[11] At night Dugby sleeps nearby, and he will mutter more coherent directions to the treasure.[12] If Link retrieves the Drillshaft that Dugby hid, he will allow him to keep it as a reward.[13]

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
The Goron Hot Springs appear as part of the Death Mountain Stage.
In the "Daruk's Wishes" Movie, Daruk leads Zelda, Impa, Link, and Terrako through the Goron Hot Springs. While there, he formally accepts Zelda's offer to be the pilot of Divine Beast Vah Rudania.[14] Noticing that Link might be hungry, he gives him a Prime Rock Roast, which Link proceeds to eat after hearing his encouragement.[15]
During the "Defend the Goron Hot Springs" Quest, a group of Monsters begin threatening the Goron Hot Springs, and the Gorons need supplies to create a defense crew.[16] The crew requires 10 Fortified Pumpkins, 10 Ironshell Crabs, 250 Bokoblin Trophies, and 10 Moblin Trophies. When they receive these Materials, the Gorons are able to keep the Goron Hot Springs and their visitors safe.[17]
Nomenclature
The Goron Hot Springs are named after the Hot Springs from Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess.[18]
