Stone Talus
Template:Boss Stone Talus are recurring enemies and Sub-Bosses in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2] They appear to be a cluster of boulders at first, but once approached, they assemble into a large golem-like being. Luminous, Rare, Frost, and Igneo variations can also be found all around Hyrule.

Common Locations East Necluda
Recoverable Materials
Stone Talus are fairly large compared to Link and can deal huge amounts of damage. They are very slow-moving, so as long as Link can stay behind or beneath them, he will be out of harm's way. Stone Talus can use their large arm structures to punch and swipe across the ground, dealing heavy damage to the impact area. They can also fall forward and crash their entire body into the ground or launch large fragments of their rocky frame at Link.
To defeat a Stone Talus, Link can climb onto its body and attack the Ore Deposit on its back, usually located on top or at the back of the boss. Link can inflict major damage by using a double-handed weapon or Bomb Arrows. After taking damage, the Stone Talus will attempt to throw Link off by shaking itself. To make climbing easier, Link can use the Remote Bomb Rune to blast apart the Stone Talus' arms, hindering it temporarily. A Stone Talus can regenerate lost body parts shortly after losing them.
Defeating a Stone Talus rewards Link with Gem depending of its type.
