This article is about the Mini-Game. For the ability, see Shield Surfing.

Shield-Surfing is a Mini-Game in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Rules

Link can start the mini-game by talking to Selmie in her cabin at Selmie's Spot. First, she'll have the player run through a simplified version of the course, aptly named 'Beginner's Course'. Upon completion of the Beginner's Course, she'll allow usage of a more advanced course and start offering shields as a reward, based on the time a player achieves. However, if the reward in question has been presented before, she will grant the player 50 rupees as a 'consolation prize'.
