*The tunes howled are mainly Ocarina songs from Ocarina of Time and MM, along with one song from TWW. The tune of the final Howling Stone is an original Twilight Princess composition; it is named the "Ballad of Twilight" by some fans.

*In Twilight Princess HD, the sixth song was changed to the New Wave Bossa Nova, likely because of The Wind Waker isn't in the same timeline as Twilight Princess.

Template:Object Howling Stones are stones that enable Link to learn new Hidden Skills in Twilight Princess. They bear the Eye Symbol of the Sheikah tribe, similarly to the Gossip Stones and the Sheikah Stones from Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword.

Function

When standing next to them, Link will be able to hear the wind blowing a tune. In wolf form, Link must howl the tune next to the stone; afterward, he will be transported to another landscape, where he will then have to howl the tune again. This time, however, the Golden Wolf will howl with him.

There is no Howling Stone for the first meeting with the Golden Wolf, since Link will encounter him on the way to the Forest Temple in Faron Woods. There is an additional Howling Stone with the symbol of the Triforce as opposed to the Sheikah eye in the Sacred Grove, but is only required to venture further into the grove by howling "Zelda's Lullaby."

The locations of the all stones are shown in the list below.
