Dodongo's Cavern is the second Dungeon in Ocarina of Time, located part-way up the Death Mountain Trail. Originally used as a source of food for the Gorons,[2] it has been infested with Dodongos and sealed off by Ganondorf. Once Link gets inside the Cavern and defeats King Dodongo, Darunia makes him a sworn brother of the Goron tribe and entrusts him with the Spiritual Stone of Fire.[3]

The Ice Cavern is a mini-Dungeon accessed from Zora Fountain, where Link (as an adult) obtains the Iron Boots and learns the Serenade of Water, which allow him to enter the Water Temple. It is filled with falling Icicles, Ice Stalagmites, and ice-based Enemies.

Other Caves include the Forest Stage in the Lost Woods, Death Mountain Crater, and the numerous Secret Grottoes found throughout Hyrule.

The Ice Cavern is the fourth Area of the Drablands. It contains four Levels set in an open-air, mountainous region, filled with slippery surfaces and rolling Boulders. Its Mini-Boss is Freezlord, and its Boss is Blizzagia.

Tears of the Kingdom

As a result of the Upheaval, a number of Caves have opened throughout Hyrule. They feature unique Creatures and Materials that cannot be found anywhere else.[4] Each Cave also contains one Bubbulfrog, which drops a Bubbul Gem upon its defeat.[5][6]
