Template:Item Item Cards are items that appear in Adventure Mode in Hyrule Warriors. They are cards representing different items from the series. They are used to uncover secrets on the map screen; mainly to unlock new rewards such as new weapons and Heart Containers for characters.

Item Cards are obtained by winning in "C" Rank in mission squares where they appear. A mission square will only give one Item Card at a time, but as more missions are cleared, more Item Cards will appear. By using the Search option, an Item Card can be used on a tile in a mission square to uncover new findings. Each Item Card has a unique use, and thus certain tiles require that specific Item Cards be used. Bomb Item Cards can be used to open hidden pathways, whereas Candle Item Cards can burn bushes. New unlockable rewards must be revealed using the Search option, and only then can be won by winning in the required mission rank.

Some mission squares will have hidden enemies, and thus require that a certain Item Card be used before it can become playable, most commonly with the Goddess's Harp Item Card. Some mission squares also cannot be accessed to unless an Item Card is used on a neighboring square. In this case, a neighboring square will have a pointing arrow with a lock symbol. By using the correct Item Card, the arrow becomes "unlocked", and will open the next square once the required mission ranking is achieved.

Item Cards are consumed upon use, even when used on an incorrect tile. Multiple copies of Item Cards can be carried at once. Item Cards also do not carry over to other Adventure Mode maps, and thus must be won in those maps to be used.
