I just found a TERRIBLE glitch in Ocarina of Time 3D!

For some annoying reason, the letter you need to talk to Big Brother with is gone! It happened after I gave a mask to the guard in that Death Mountain city place (I forgot the name. It was just gone after that!!! Now, I can't talk to Big Brother so, I have 2 options: I can quit that game(which I really don't want to do) or I can start the game over (which I also don't want to do because the "Inside the Deku Tree" dungeon is really hard).

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's no glitch. For starters, the guard at the Death Mountain gate is the intended target of Zelda's letter; you don't need to use it on Darunia. The letter's supposed to disappear upon getting the Keaton Mask, as the letter no longer has a use at that point.
