DLC

I understand that the DLC is out today, and so there's the potential for stuff people say about it to be accurate, but we still need to provide sources. If you don't provide a source, I don't have the ability to verify what you're saying is true.

Assuming you have the DLC yourself, would you be able to provide a link to a miiverse screenshot depicting the weapon type name, and possibly the specific weapon names? That would be incredibly helpful.KrytenKoro (talk) 18:53, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

I don't actually have the DLC as I'm in the US. That said, my info gathering skills online are quite good. From what I've dug up the weapon tiers are: For Tingle, Rosy Balloon, Love-Filled Balloon and Mr. Fairy Balloon. And Young Link's are Fierce Deity Mask, Furious Deity Mask, and Vengeful Deity Mask. I've also seen model rips of FDL's weapons and shots of YL's "Item Acquired" screen and the items picture is indeed of FDL's swords an slightly recolored mask, that said, YL's weapon category is still eluding me. It's more likely just "Mask" but I'll update again once info gets it.--Lego3400 (talk) 20:03, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

I've also seen model rips (keep in mind the game has models for things that aren't always weapons), and can look at Gamefaqs threads too, but as far as sources go this wiki will only accept the game itself. Have you actually seen any screenshots of the English game itself (I think you're saying you have with the item acquired)? If so, can you provide links to them? Honestly, I'd really rather just keep the section blank until the DLC is globally available, but consensus overruled me on that.

Well if you're willing to glance at other Wiki's Koei wiki is on the ball and has images of all the item teirs for young link and reporting it to simply be "Mask". Lego3400 (talk) 21:46, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Thank you very, very much for that, it really helps, but please also remember that it is not acceptable to use a source that only supports one claim, and edit as if it supported four unique claims. I really want to get this to work with you (if you'll check my contribs, you'll notice how much I care about the weapon articles), but the simple fact is that we have three different editors that have claimed the weapons are three different things, and none of them are providing sources (although, kudos on sourcing the weapon element). With contradicting claims and no sources, the only thing I can do is decide that the truth is unknown and leave the section blank. Again, please, please, please provide links to anything that shows weapon names or elements here or on the article's talk page before editing the page again -- if all you can find are Japanese screenshots, I can actually translate those for you! All I need is something. Please trust that I'm not trying to say you're wrong, only that it's inappropriate for the wiki to side with your claims over the other editors' claims until sources can be provided.KrytenKoro (talk) 22:08, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

So, we have "Fierce Deity's Mask" and, hmmm..."Extreme - Fierce Deity's Mask"? That verifies darkness, though, so awesome! Looks like Chuck's provided a source for the weapon class names, too.
