Multiple edits

Hello! I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this clutters the Recent Changes and the page histories, and makes patrolling more difficult for the Zelda Wiki staff. So instead of saving a lot, use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones! :) That said, you don't have to add a new image to a page one at a time. You can upload them all and add them all in one edit. - Midoro (T C) 17:35, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hey, I also wanted to point out that there's no need to upload new files of the Legend Dress and Big Bomb Outfit, as we already have files of those in much better quality and resolution. It's generally a very good idea to double check if a file already exists on the wiki before uploading one. - Midoro (T C) 17:55, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Okay, I was going to take your advice, but why did you change back the other images? They just released a bunch of renders for the costumes in TFH so I thought I'd update and add any images that were missing. Is there a problem with the images? I think they're in a higher resolution than the ones already there, and if not is it okay to add any images of costumes you don't have yet? Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this, it would be much appreciated and I'll try to do better. -GreatandmightyKOFU (talk) 18:00, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

There are three things about the images you uploaded,
1) When we first discovered the images, which were actually uploaded to Nintendo Everything first, we discovered that they have extremely faint watermarks on them. If you have a laptop or a flat monitor screen, you can see them if you tilt your screen just so. We prefer having images as clear as possible, even if the watermarks are not very obvious.
2) Our current Legend Dress and Big Bomb Outfit images (which I linked) are in larger resolution and therefore in better quality. The ones you uploaded from ZD were for whatever reason downscaled. There's no reason to do this, especially when we can change the size of an image displayed on-wiki using wiki code.
3) Our Legend Dress and Big Bomb Outfits are already rendered where the white background is removed, making them transparent. We prefer images that way.
That's why there were issues with your images, and why we prefer the ones we already have. - Midoro (T C) 18:13, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
