Your Timeline

I haven't read the whole thing but your theory about the Minish Realm and the Termina sharing the same realm. It is never stated that the Light Force was in Termina, and Termina was is a mirror world of Hyrule. Each character has a mirror counterpart and the Minish Realm is a another realm where only the Minish thrive in.

The Guardians don't protect the elements they protect the four compass directions.

There's a lot of stuff in there that seem a lot like fan-fiction I don't want to be critical and I myself don't really focus on the timeline so much because so much in the Zelda universe is ambiguous and left without explanation. It's a nice story but it just doesn't fit right.--Green 02:45, 18 December 2007 (EST)

It's never actually stated that the Minish Realm is exclusive to Minish. I also had an idea that the minish were mirror fairies, who also came over from Hyrule. Fused Shadow 19:36, 18 December 2007 (EST)

The only Zelda game I've played is twilight princess so I don't understand alot of what you're talking about. Can you list all 13 Zelda games in chronological order? --Link hero of light 20:02, 18 December 2007 (EST)

Hmmm the mirro fairies does sound pretty interesting but I'm still not satisfied. Yeah I'd like to see the list--Green 20:36, 18 December 2007 (EST)

In truth there are 14 games if you include the original Four Swords that came with the GBA rerelease of aLttP. And to understand this you're going to have to know some things in Ocarina of Time, so that might spoil it for you. This theory uses the Split Timeline Theory, which is about the timeline spliting into two separate timelines after Ocarina. So according to that, the timeline goes in one like this after one ending:

  • Ocarina of Time
  • Legend of Zelda
  • Adventure of Link
  • Oracle of Ages
  • Link's Awakening
  • A Link to the Past

Then after the other ending it goes like this:

  • Ocarina of Time
  • Majora's Mask
  • Twilight Princess
  • Oracle of Seasons
  • Link's Awakening
  • Minish Cap
  • Four Swords
  • Four Swords Adventures
  • Wind Waker
  • Phantom Hourglass

However I did already write all this on my userpage. And there are a few games I haven't completed, so if anything is wrong you can just inform me. Fused Shadow 14:59, 19 December 2007 (EST)

My thoughts

The Minish Realm seems to be much more likely to be the Golden Realm, as the Minish seem semi-divine (like the fairy or Oocca), and the Four Sword Sanctuary is a gate - a remnant of which appears in ALttP, in the Golden Land.

The Twilight Realm was said to be an empty realm created to store the Interlopers, not anything else. And it is said that the goddesses left behind the mirror, by the light spirits themselves, who were there.

The Goddesses did not hide the Triforce in the Sacred Realm - the Triforce created the Sacred Realm.

The Sheikah are always said to have been loyal to the Royal Family, and don't seem to have skill in magic. But, oh well, there's not much evidence either way for that. And both tribes are associated with shadows.

The War of TMC was apparently about sealing the monsters - it could have been against whatever demon created the hordes of Monsters, but it was separate from the Twilight War, as the two stories (both told by very reliable sources) are incongruous. The Unifying War is also incongruous with both of these, and ALttP describes the Imprisoning War, which happens after the Unifying War - they are concretely defined as separate wars.

I've heard a very good theory that the Imprisoning War actually refers to FSA - both FSA and OoT seem to happen before ALttP, and FSA seems to much more closely match the events of the story from ALttP (for one, there is multiple Links, and the Knights actually help out - in OoT, there's no way that could be interpreted as Knights). Also, Ganon seems to have broken out of the Four Sword before ALttP starts - this may be the seal they actually checked on, as the original Japanese refers to a seal on Ganon, not on the Golden Land.

It could be that FSA continues after adult OoT (the land does look like an intermediate between flood and ALttP Hyrule) - Ganon has come back from wherever he was - perhaps he had Puppet Ganon revive him, or Bellum was a creation (Aonuma did say that Ganondorf's darkness helped set up PH) that helped revive him, or "Ganondorf" from TWW was simply an alter-ego like Agahnim - he does wear robes much the same, he does say that the seal was still on him until Link removed the sword, and the story is overall very similar to Agahnim's. In any case, Ganon still has the Triforce, and seems to incarnate as the Trident, awaiting a new body (for whatever reason - possibly as a disguise, possibly the old one is too damaged - he is creating fake ones, so maybe the Triforce of Power isn't very kind to his aging). He is finally resealed within the Four Sword, and later within the Golden Land, to make sure he stays there (And apparently watched over by the Pyramid Fairy). He still has enough power to create Agahnim, who frees him from the sword, or he gets out on his own - maybe some fool got into the Golden Land and drew the sword - Blind? Could be. Then, ALttP.

I would suggest...gahh, I hate using the Split Timeline, but its too long to argue for a "single" -

Creation ... Monster War ... TMC ... Twilight War ... Unification War OoT>{MM.TP} ... Flood War ... TWW PH ... FS FSA (Imprisoning War) . (not very long) ALttP OoA>OoS LA ... TLoZ TAoL

Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess both have references to the adult timeline, but Aonuma does concretely say that there was a split...maybe Link was able to get the sages together a lot faster, possibly before Ganondorf got back, so that he still got the Triforce, and Link was still the Hero of Time - but no destruction of Hyrule.

The Zora origin of the Master Sword actually is pretty interesting, though I'm not sure it works, since Past Labrynna is only 400 years before OoA, and so present Labrynna would have to be about the time of TWW or even the Flood, even though the waters are withdrawing in present Labrynna.
