Templates
I noticed some of your recent template edits, and um...why exactly are you editing the template directly? If, for example, you're trying to add your age to the age template just type:

Yeah, I just joined yesterday and was trying to figure that out...about five seconds after I did that I realized that I had edited the template itself. Now I know what I'm doing with those...haha. Sorry for being a n00b, hopefully I will catch on quicker with the next thing that I don't know how to do.

User Signatures
I tried following the instructions on creating a custom signature, and I could not find how to make a fresh, new page for it in the Help section, as I am trying to do Method #2. So I searched "create a page" in the search bar, and this is what happened: http://www.zeldawiki.org/Create_a_page The instructions for the custom signature would be really easy to follow it I could find out how to make a new page. I don't really need a custom signature now but I thought it'd be good practice before I try editing actual pages, besides my user page.
- Okay, go to the Sandbox and click edit. Type: [[User:ARedHairedBeauty/sig]] and click show preview. If you need any more help, you can refer to this guide, or ask me :)Mandi Talk 23:08, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh fudge, what a mess I've made! Now when you click "Sandbox" it comes up because I pressed "save page" after I clicked "show preview"...I don't know how to change that (I think that would be deleting a page, which I know I cannot do). Either way, I can't grasp how that would be creating a page in itself, if I had followed your instructions right. --ZeldaWiki (Talk) 23:19, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

- Okay, I typed the text in there and checked the box below it. I previewed it with this to test it: {{:User:ARedHairedBeauty@legacy41961385/sig}} It looks right to me besides the "talk" part of it not connecting to my talk page. And I can customize it by changing the colors on the first sig page you created for me, right? ARedHairedBeauty (talk).
