Games I "own"

Me, me, me

About me

Well, with my own perception of myself I would judge myself as quite the no nonsense kind of guy. However, I try as much as I can, particularly on the serious business that is the internet to lighten up a bit, although the process is a long one. That aside, I am foremost a fan of the Zelda games ( duh! ). The first Zelda game I ever played was Ocarina of Time back in nice 20th century. However, I didn't become a "hardcore" Zelda fan until sometime in the early 2005 when I first bought a Gamecube ( late I know ) and played through the Wind Waker and Four Sword Adventures. In the anticipation of Twilight Princess I started to collect Zelda games and played through the more retro of Zelda games. At this time I was first introduced to the Zelda timeline on the Gamefaqs boards, although I never became too involved. After having played through Twilight Princess on the Gamecube in the late late 2006, I pretty much laid of with everything that had with Zelda ( and other video games as well! ) to do. Zelda no longer interested me, and even the release of Phantom Hourglass didn't do much to change that. As such, I never bought a Wii ( until recently, that is ) and missed the whole phenomenon. I blame the delays that Twilight Princess was put through. The long wait made me bitter towards the game, having been ported to the Wii and all that. Didn't really like the whole new generations thingy you have to buy a new console, particularly not the wii-mote! Or at least my wallet didn't.

Summer 2009, my interest Zelda rose again, particularly in the light of the new art that had been released at the E3 that year ( which we now know as Skyward Sword ). I joined the little community know as ZeldaUniverse where I proceeded to become a sort of infamous ( my opinion of myself anyway ) zelda theorist. With a fervor unlike any before I wanted to discover the "true" timeline. For awhile I thought I found it, but so did a dozen of other. And most of them only partially agreed with my own views. But thats another story. Eventually joined the Zeldawiki, and here I am now. Whats your story? Figured my introduction would be enough to spook away most.
