Tingle, Tingle! Kooloo-Limpah! ...This is the timeline that Tingle created himself.
— Stream

Overview

For April Fools' day 2023, we decided to create our own Timeline using our knowledge of the series to rival the canonical one. As we know the games in and out, we were able to piece together the games regardless of their position. The games were picked through a variety of means, ranging from a randomized wheel, to user choice, to a (video game) death battle. The stream went for 2 and a half hours; although, unfortunately, the vod was lost.

The first game was chosen through random elimination. The host, [magicmason1000], listed them on a randomized wheel, including all of the main line game as well as many, if not all, of the spinoffs. [mason] spun the wheel, eliminating games one by one, until My Nintendo Picross: Twilight Princess remained; quite possibly the strangest game to start off the Timeline. No one knew how to make it work, much to our delight. [explain process for tingle (user choice? who's choice?)].

[explain the process for tfh (aka drawing contest, with tony as the victor doubling down on the wiiverse stuff)]. [explain the process for la (mario maker)]. Combined with none of us being on voice, stream delay, and plain poor direction, a basic level became a challenge, one where two of the three deaths were simply from timing out. [explain the timeline split (aka someone asked 'okay, original or switch?' to which of course we, being loz nerds, said 'timeline split!'].

We decided that at the end of the stream, a game would be picked at random to combine the three timelines, and we'd have to figure out how to make it work. Until then, the three timelines would each get one game, chosen by someone present through a number game. [mason] picked a number, we sent in our guesses, and whoever was closest won. The group would then pick which timeline to put the chosen game in. Hyrule Warriors was chosen by [ray], and put in the Farore, or Original Timeline, as it was the left till last. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was chosen by [moddedinkling], and put in the Din, or Switch timeline, as both are switch games; because of this, Breath of the Wild is ambiguous canon. Majora's Mask was chosen by [Mc-Gem], and put in the Nayru, or DX Timeline; it was a perfect fit due to the time traveling instrument present.

[explain elimination wheel for the final 6 options (tp the unlucky 7th?), and then the ssbu death battle round, with young link landslide victory (and his, what, FIVE fairy bottles?)].
