About Me

I go by Lost in Hyrule most places on the internet. I'm a practicing Christian living in Indiana, married to a wonderful woman, and I work as a web developer for a department of the university I attended.

I have been a fan of the Zelda series for quite a long time. I first played Link's Awakening and Ocarina of Time at a friend's house. We would take turns messing around in those games, exploring Mabe Village or pretending to be on the run in Kakariko Village with the Longshot. We had a lot of fun! When I tried starting my own files, I often had my friend play the bosses as I found them frightening.

Several years later, I was helping my dad with a job remodeling a bathroom at someone's house. In the next room, there were two younger boys playing a GameCube. They were sailing along on a dark, stormy night, and suddenly a whirlpool enveloped them. A massive squid with many eyes rose up from the sea, and they began firing a cannon at the beast. I was absolutely enthralled. I really wanted to play that game! I got the game as a present several months later (birthday or Christmas, who can recall). I've been a diehard fan ever since!

The Wind Waker remains my favorite of the series, admittedly due to nostalgia. I have gathered and nearly completed every main game in the series, and even some of the side games. The wedding ring my wife found for me is engraved with the Triforce, and she walked down the aisle to Zelda's Lullaby played on the piano.

• AoL - Beaten (and on the GameCube, so no save states)
• ALttP - 100%, no recorded deaths, GBA version (including FS bonuses)
• LA - 100%, Marin ending, DX version (working on Chamber Dungeons for Switch)
• OoT - 100%, no recorded deaths
• MM - 100%
• OoX - Have played both OoS>OoA and OoA>OoS, full collections except for Rings
• FS - All Hero Keys and Hero Vaati's Palace. Hero's Trial and Realm of Memories done in FSAE
• TWW - 100%, including Tingle Tuner
• FSA - 100%, and all minigames played
• TMC - 100%
• TP - 100%, including all 16 letters, and perfect Cave of Shadows for HD (had to restart a 99% file because I seem to have glitched one Poe Soul)
• PH - 100%, including all Big Plays
• ST - 100%, including Captain title
• SS - 100%
• ALBW - 99.9%, including StreetPass Challenges (but not that Cucco game...)
• TFH - All Outfits and upgraded Bear Minimum, beat Den of Trials, but not all extra Challenges
• BotW - Master Mode, nearing 100%. Only missing the Skyward Sword amiibo armor! Trial of the Sword complete!

Other Games

• Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland - A few continents in, in progress
• Hyrule Warriors - All of Story mode, did not complete Adventure Modes. Going to get DE at some point
• Age of Calamity - All quests completed, all characters unlocked. Have not gone to higher difficulties though.
• Link's Crossbow Training - Beat all the levels, but did not try for better scores
• Twilight Princess Picross - All puzzles complete
• Cadence of Hyrule - Beat each of the three campaigns. Working on more Achievements
• Game & Watch - Beat a few of the dragons, but not all
