In Ocarina of Time 3D, I saw what you might call a ghost and what our Zelda Wiki may still consider a hoax to this day. I rode Epona to the Gerudo Fortress and paid 10 Rupees to take the challenge inside. This was my first time trying and I already had almost all the Gear and all of the hearts for the heart gauge. Eventually I made it to a room where you had to play the Song of Time to descend to a water filled pit. I defeated the enemies underwater with the Longshot and paused for about maybe 5 seconds. I again pulled out a hookshot and looked around the room. Then I quickly looked backwards and Ben Drowned of the creepypasta article was right in my face with a slightly demonic smile. I jumped back in surprise! The reverse Song of Healing played and I saw him disappear before my eyes as if a ghost or a poe. He did not return again no matter how many times I tried to make him return again. Was this some sort of temporary easter egg? A joke by the Nintendo staff? As I went to sleep that night, I had a very unsettling feeling. Would the "hoax" claimed by our very own wiki return? would I go crazy like the sophomore in the first Ben Drowned report? Let me tell you, what I saw was no "hoax" and I will not be swayed of what I saw that night...

From A Link Between Worlds

This theory was created after the release of A Link Between Worlds was released and Zelda fans noticed Majora's Mask hanging from Link's House in Ravio's Shop. By looking closer at the Hyrule Historia, fans assumed a link between other timelines to the Downfall Timeline. This meant that either Link or Ravio had a relation to the Happy Mask Salesman depending on if either Link or Ravio alternated between Hyrule or Lorule. The first post relating to the subject was on the Forum pages of Zeldapedia. This is one possible theory to why the mask was in Ravio's Shop.
