Although he registered on the ZeldaUniverse Forums in September of the year 2004, Bloodsword was on ZeldaUniverse, the site, long before that time. He just didn't pay attention to the forums until he decided to give them a go for whatever reason went through his head.

He had, and still does, a passion for writing. He had been writing since he was very young, and, of course, he loved Zelda. It led to a random Google search of the word "Zelda", and he came across ZU. Since he wanted to learn more about the popular video game, he followed the link, and was delighted to find a fanfiction section. He quickly registered and wrote his first fanfiction ever, entitled The War of Time.

To his surprise, mere days after he started writing the book, he recieved several reviews from many different members of the already rapidly growing community of fanfiction writers. The first person to ever review it was thrilled by the story, despite his minimal skills at the time (or so he puts it). Her username was Shrub, his very first friend on ZU, ever. She reviewed every chapter, and helped him eventually finish the story. Exhilerated by the stimulus response, he quickly wrote a sequel, which was a little more rushed, but it still got plenty of enthusiastic reviews.

Shrub emailed Bloodsword to tell him that he had inspired her to write her very own fanfiction, entitled Empire of Darkness, which oddly enough, grew to be the most popular fanfiction on the entire section. Bloodsword was quickly disregarded in the looming success of this new novel of Shrub's, but though he never got any more reviews, he remained a fierce friend with it's creator... Shrub.

Bloodsword met many other friends as well, such as the boy known as Safer on the ZU forums (called Courage Master back then), and of course, the famed Wielder of the Sword, who was continuing a monumental story that had been kicked off by the Interactive Story section on other parts of the site. There, Wielder introduced a character that he had made up, called simply "Blitz".

These four writers were some of the best in the place, and they had a wonderful time for what must have been over a year, on the fanfiction section, together, writing hard and quickly warming up to each other as they IMed and frequently spoke more and more.

Soon, however, after finding the forums, the fanfiction section where their friendship had started, died when ZeldaUniverse was reborn. Their home was destroyed... but they were alive on the forums, though not as the tall, proud figures they had been. They were new members. Safer was still Courage Master, Shrub was still Shrub, and Wielder of the Sword was Wielder of the Sword (although Shrub and Wielder didn't join the forums until a while after the other three had, but they stayed in touch, anyways).

Bloodsword may have been the first to discover the Battle Arena, which he quickly became intruiged by. He submitted several characters that he had devised very early in his life... Terrin Tankira, the Posative wielding elf warrior (his most used and successful character), Cain of Belisaur, and even a side-character dubbed "Tardron Keltiro".

Bloodsword started the very first adventure battle in what must have been the history of the Battle Arena (though that isn't proven, it is widely thought to be true). Several people joined, including Courage Master (Safer). The battle was called "Temple of Souls", and it became a huge success. It would later win the Best Fight award.

In Bloodsword's first year on the forums, he also won Best Fighter, and became more and more active everywhere on the forums, leaving behind his newbie talk and using proper grammar in all of his posts.

Wielder and Shrub joined up with Safer and Bloodsword quickly enough, and they all fought in the BA together, naming themselves FFF (Four Fan Fickers). Bloodsword was the first to enter training in the Battle School, and he went through writing training quickly enough, picking up writing skills he had hitherto been lacking. Jason, a former Webmaster, had been his teacher, and after his training, asked him to join the Battle Arena Council. Bloodsword accepted the offer enthusiastically, and taught for a time.

After a year of being on the Council alone, and briefly becoming a moderator for the BA (but not anymore), Safer, Wielder and Shrub joined him on the Council, along with other new members deemed responsible enough. They befriended the returned Battle Arena moderator LadyElvenarcher (LEA), and again, taught together. Though by this time, Bloodsword was done teaching, (one of the few) and had started working on his book that is still in progress, entitled Masters of Regnad, about the bloody history of his very first character, Terrin Tankira, who was now disturbingly similar to Wielder of the Sword's now Battle Arena character, Blitz Keir. Similarities can still be found if you PM one of them.

Bloodsword has been considered for the BA moderator position three times, yet, after, helping contribute to the FFF's new home, the Battle Arena, he and the other three have earned a reputation on the forums. His time had come and gone, it seemed, and slowly but surely his activity on ZU dwindled. Bloodsword disappeared, and is rarely active to this day, yet his legacy continues on in the hearts of all who call themselves BAers.
