Aeffles is a long time member of Zelda Universe.

Born on April 28th, 1986, Aeffles is ZU's favorite New Yorker. He works long hours, but always ensures he finds the time to visit the forums and spread his renowned charm throughout.

Originally signing up to the forums in 2005 for zelda ringtones for his Nextel, he decided to stick around the place for some Zelda related discussion. Even though his next three threads were to fail and become distant, locked memories, Aeffles, then AEF Link, didn't give up. Instead, he prevailed and stayed at the forums, casually posting around. AEF really came in to his own during October 2006 when he joined the Farore clan. This is where Aeffles showed his true colors, and was quickly excepted and loved within Farore's community.

After some time of posting almost exclusively within the secrecy of the Farore clan, a new Farore moderator was required. None other than AEF Link was asked to fill the spot and take on the responsibility. After a few months showing how both capable and committed he is at moderating (along with how much he can post whore within the newly accessed alternative clans, namely Nayru), he was promoted to Section Moderator of the infamous ZU Zelda forums. In no time at all, he helped whip these sections in to shape, and has since been once again rewarded with further promotion--this time to the honorable position of Super Moderator.

Of course, it's not only the staff of Zelda Universe who have noted his dedication, receiving the "Most Appreciated Moderator" award in the Winter '07 awards, along with "Most Original Screen Name" (after the change from AEF Link) and "Best Custom Rank". Aeffles certainly deserves the admiration he receives from staff and members alike.

Much of his time on Zelda Universe is still spent within Farore, but with new found responsibilities, Aeffles has more and more to contribute around the entire site, and can be seen doing so regularly. A truly memorable member of the Zelda Universe forums, he tirelessly puts effort in to helping anyone who may need it.

Aeffles then became a Super Mod on the Mod Team at Zelda Universe being in charge of Clans. He places users into their clans after taking the clan tests, and also handles all other clan issues. Clan swaps, banners, tests, issues and modding is handled by Aeffles.
