"The Siege of Fort Hateno" is a Challenge in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

"The Siege of Fort Hateno" is located in the Necluda region at Fort Hateno. "The Siege of Fort Hateno" can be unlocked after Calamity Ganon is unlocked as a playable character.

The Challenge starts at which the first Warrior is positioned inside Fort Hateno while the other three are positioned in front of the fort. Shortly after, a Guardian enters the fort and a 10-minute timer begins. However, if the Guardian is killed, the timer temporarily stops until another Guardian enters the fort.

The Warriors are then directed to kill a Malice Hinox or a Malice Frost Talus at the far left corners of the map. Once the Malice Hinox is killed, a gate to Astor opens. He is accompanied by three Stalmoblins. If he loses half of his total health, he will exclaim and withdraw from the battlefield and move on to a different area, which is a Malice Igneo Talus. After killing the Malice Igneo Talus, another gate opens and Astor can be defeated.

Once the Malice Frost Talus is killed, a gate opens to Harbinger Ganon, who is accompanied by 3 Guardian Scouts I. Just like Astor, it will withdraw to a different area after losing half of its health. Then, a Malice Lynel appears to guard the new location. After killing the Malice Lynel, another gate opens to the location of the latter half of the Harbinger Ganon fight.

After both Astor and Harbinger Ganon are taken out, Calamity Ganon appears in front of Fort Hateno. The Challenge is finished when Calamity Ganon is killed.

After completing the Challenge for the first time, the Warriors will receive an Ethereal Stone, five Giant Ancient Cores, and a random Weapon.
