"The Death Caldera Crystal" is a Shrine Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
There are two methods to start "The Death Caldera Crystal". The first is by activating the Travel Point in front of the Momosik Shrine. The second is by interacting with the Shrine of Light's respective Mysterious Crystal. In either scenario, Link will hear a Mysterious Voice, telling him to bring the Crystal to the Momosik Shrine in exchange for a Light of Blessing.[2][3] Upon hearing the voice, a beam connecting the Mysterious Crystal to the Shrine will appear, and the Shrine Quest will begin.
The Mysterious Crystal corresponding to the Momosik Shrine can be found in a cave that can be entered through the Death Mountain East Tunnel, which is initially blocked by a breakable rock wall. The Crystal is also a part of the Ore Deposit of an Igneo Talus, which Link must defeat before being able to bring it to the Shrine.[4] At the Shrine, the Mysterious Voice will speak again, honoring its promise to give him a Light of Blessing.[5] The Crystal will then expand in size, revealing itself to be the Shrine's entrance.[4] Afterwards, "The Death Caldera Crystal" will be completed.
