The Aftermath of Survival
"The Aftermath of Survival" is a Movie in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1] It was added in the Guardian of Remembrance Downloadable Content pack.
Overview
"The Aftermath of Survival" plays upon the completion of the Scenario "EX The Princess and the King". It takes place after King Rhoam decides to rendezvous with the remaining Soldiers on the Great Plateau.[2]
On the Great Plateau, King Rhoam swings his Royal Claymore at an attacking Blue Moblin. He and the Hylian Soldiers are left exhausted upon defeating it, at which point they spot a horde of Monsters coming toward them.[3] He raises his Royal Claymore in his defense, but he is interrupted by the approach of a squadron of Gerudo Soldiers led by Urbosa.[3] Pointing her Scimitar of the Seven toward the Monsters, she declares that they must protect the King of Hyrule.[4]
Once all the Monsters have been defeated, King Rhoam and Urbosa stand on the edge of the Great Plateau as they look out toward Hyrule. Rhoam apologizes for troubling Urbosa, but she claims that it would have been worse had he fallen in battle.[5] She then reveals that, after searching everywhere for her father, Zelda is on her way to their location.[3][6] Upon hearing this, King Rhoam is filled with guilt.[3] Urbosa speculates that Zelda has become stronger than her mother, the late Queen of Hyrule.[7] King Rhoam thanks Urbosa before walking away.[8] Watching him leave, Urbosa notes that Zelda's efforts have not been in vain.[9]
