An Easy (Albeit Long) Way to Defeat Zaganaga

I found an easy way to defeat Zaganaga without the need for the Sand Rod. It requires you to be at full health so you can use Sword Beams; you can use the Bow as an alternative/back-up. You use the Sword Beams and/or the Bow while the boss is on-screen, all the while staying on the sand platform where you start the battle. Don't forget to keep killing the Peahats while damaging Zaganaga at the same time. Heal with a Red or Blue Potion if needed, if you have any. It does take a while to defeat Zaganaga, but it is possible. If done correctly, it can even be an easy way to do a no-damage run for the game.

Let me know if there's a way to improve on this method to defeat Zaganaga more quickly.
