Name Source

Are we sure that it's Deku Loop and not Degu Loop? Given the error with Degu Toad, I'd be curious to know where this info comes from. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KairuHakubi 08:32, 5 December 2018‎ (UTC)Reply[reply]

Just adding context here that this is in reference to the JP name for Helmasaurus, デクループ. Actually checking this would probably require someone to get their hands on the JP guide(s). TriforceTony (talk) 23:06, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If anyone does that, it would be worth doublechecking what this page calls Deku Like and Dai Deku Baba, complete with katakana indicating that was taken from a legit Japanese source. This wiki's own page for "Big Baba" claims those enemies were originally Dekureshia and Babareshia, and I'm inclined to believe that (-resia being short for the flower rafflesia, which is apparently in the German name). My kingdom for some official sources to cite (and honestly even a guide seems less than 100% trustworthy. They've been known to make up names)! —Preceding unsigned comment added by KairuHakubi 07:56, 7 December 2018‎ (UTC)Reply[reply]
As TP doesn't have in-game names for enemies, the only official sources for them would be the Japanese website and guides, or perhaps the most recent release, Hyrule Encyclopedia, which superseedes anything released previously. Indeed. Noticed another inconsistency based on what could easily be a slight typo: are the rats guusu or guuzu? This article and the enemies' own article disagree. I did find a site relating to Triforce of the Gods saying Guuzu, so... https://renote.jp/articles/11968/page/10 but on the other hand, the Japanese Wikipedia article says Guusu. Never been a fan of signing, but I'll do it for you :P KairuHakubi (talk) 06:25, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
