Filling Out this Page

Perhaps what we need for this page to be complete is a table that enumerates the chart number, where it is found, where it's treasure is, and what the treasure is. It would add so much to the article, yet still stay encyclopedic. I'm going to be looking into this soon, but if anyone would like to help out in this, be my guest! ;) — cipriano^talk 05:59, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Much like the Mask list, I guess. I can't help this article too much for now, sadly, as I need to replay TWW in order to remember what is found where. The only ones I remember now are:

1. 39 (Dragon Roost Cavern).
2. 40 (Southern Fairy Island).
3. 5 (Wind Temple).
4. ....... ....... .............................. 23 (Diamond Steppe Island).

Perhaps it would be better to have the information on a sortable table like the ones found in most shop articles (like Zora Shop and Goron Shop). It would make it a bit more presentable. The table could list the Chart number, the location, and the prize. What do you guys think? Edit: And acquisition, too. :P Dany36 17:25, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

I edited the treasure chart page by switching 12 and 20. I am playing the game right now and trying to get the charts. I noticed that in game the 20th chart treasure was not on Five Reef Isle, it's on Bomb Island. They needed to be switched. ~Skaleks

Table sexiness

It's official: the new table in this page is FREAKING AWESOME and sexy. I approve. :D I'm hoping to replace all of the tables found in a lot of pages (mostly the shop ones, like Zora Shop and Forest's General Store) with this new look. Phantom Hourglass Treasure Maps

While collecting names from my USA copy of Phantom Hourglass for a Spanish/French name run, I noticed that Phantom Hourglass calls their treasure-location guides Treasure Maps as opposed to Treasure Charts. The fact that the existing Treasure Map article, prior to my additon of the Spanish/French USA copy names for the Phantom Hourglass Treasure Maps, had absolutely nothing pertaining to Phantom Hourglass (in fact, the existing Oracle of Seasons-related content already there was so small there's a merger proposal with Jewels in place) is bound to confuse people. What should we do about this? Should we split out the Phantom Hourglass-related information out of that article and put it into the observed English PH name? Or does anybody else have any other ideas on what could be done? Thanks. --Shiningpikablu252 17:17, 8 March 2012 (EST)

Man, I wish I hadn't missed this so I could have commented before you did all the legwork. I'm not convinced this was a good idea given that Treasure Maps in PH and Treasure Charts TWW pretty much have same role. We tend to keep articles with identical purposes together on one page despite the slight differences in name (which can always be fixed with a pipe link). Examples of this are the Seed Satchel, Bee, Helmasaur, and Dinolfos. To quote Cipriano, from a reader point of view, splitting up articles of very similar nature "would prove more "jumps" and thus a greater difficulty to access the information one is looking for." — Hylian King ^[*] 07:37, 13 June 2012 (EDT)

Hmmm...I can see where HK is coming from, and would totally agree to keep them together. However...the Treasure Map in OoS is vastly different from the uses of the treasure maps/charts in TWW or PH, so...would it make sense for the Treasure Map in OoS to get its own page, while the Treasure Maps in PH get stuck with the Treasure Charts from TWW? --Dany36 11:57, 13 June 2012 (EDT)

I'd rather keep the PH and TWW sections together on one page since they are so similar. Earth Temple

The Earth Temple charts are in the wrong places. I found #12 in the Stalfos room and #20 in the floormaster room. --Person777 17:20, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Wind Waker HD

The charts were changed in this version. There are now 46 charts and I think some of the chest contents might also have been changed. Spoon Link (talk) 20:04, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Some TCs so far. 43 is in one of the Horse Shoe islands platforms, in a spiked chest. In the original this chest had a Golden Feather I think. The treasure is in outset and contains an orange rupee. (The IGN page says silver rupee so I might be wrong) 44 is in Star Belt Archipelago in the chest that had a red rupee in the original. The Treasure is in Southern Triangle Island and has 100 rupees too. (Or 200 like IGNs page says) TC 45 replaces the 40 Joy pendant reward from Marie, the treasure is in seven star isles and contains 100 or 200 rupees. I will check the others later. TC 42 is from Dampa's Pig fetching and is in Gale Isle. Treasure is an orange rupee. (IGN is wrong) TC 46 is in the Pawprint Isles Wizzrobe cave, the ZeldaWiki page says that the wizzrobe chest has an orange rupee in the original, but IGN has a picture of a silver rupee there, so I dunno :/ The treasure is in Two Eye reef and contains the Piece of Heart that was originally in the Savage labyrinth. I don't know how I should put this info into the table (should we mention it in the Triforce Chart page too?) Add 42-46 and mention it at the top of the page or something?
