Note that Toru Minegishi must not be confused with the actor with the same name. Any information on IMDb is about the actor, not our dear composer. Thus, any information stating that Minegishi is born in 1943 refers to the actor. Angmar 08:17, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Angmar
- Not so, sir (ma'am?). Check out his listings for composer, sound department, etc. Apparently our little soundtrack man also acts on the side. :P IMDb lists game credits too, which I think is pretty cool, and also why I looked him up there. —Ando (talk) 15:22, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
I hardly believe that the two Minegishis are the same person. Check out Square Enix's Music Online page, which was my original source. That picture is not of a 65-year old guy. Plus, since IMDb is a open user site and Square Enix's page isn't, I would choose the latter as a more reliable source. And on top of that, Japanese Wikipedia operates with two different Toru Minegishis: One being an actor born in 1943, the other - our Minegishi - is a Nintendo composer and a seiyuu (voice actor), but not a full-time actor.

- Eh, weird. Also, that site you gave is also fan-made. It's not an official Square-Enix site, so... yeah. But I guess you could be right here; it seems a little odd.
- I checked out the Japanese Wikipedia page on him, and there's, like, no information on him there. :/ There's just a quick "he makes music for the nintendoss!!" blurb and then a list of games he's done. No birth-year, nothing. Argh. I guess that he's one of those "not really talked about" Zelda staff members. —Ando (talk) 17:46, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
