Purple Sword Soldier in Link to the Past?

I have seen a purple sword soldier while going to get the heart piece near the haunted grove. Once you are on top of the ledge you can see a purple soldier next to a blue one. You have to be fast though. Can someone confirm? Enderderp572 (talk) 17:24, 31 August 2015 (UTC)

Well, a lot of us are aware of the scrapped Cannon Soldier in a Link to the Past, but I think I have an idea as to what their purpose was. Perhaps they were intended to act like the cannon traps and were found in the same areas as them before the developers put the kibosh on the Cannon Soldiers?
