Is it possible that Smith is the Hero of Men? he has the green clothes and I have said before if swiftblade the first is the hero where is at least his green clothing to somehow insinuate that...also he is a fine swordsmith...he knows lots about swords..and he had a nice youthful rivalry with the king when he was young so he even back in his youth was a good swordsman... also who better to follow the hero of men then the one he taught...link--Remo 18:33, 22 April 2008
