Shouldn't this be called The resistance? its on the American Twilight Princess Cards.

Actually, it can be either. They are known as 'The Resistance' and 'The Group' Link of Vey

Name

Should we move this page to The Group? I really don't think the quotation marks are necessary.Emma (Talk) 00:01, January 21, 2009 (UTC)

Well, I don't really see the point in the quotations. The only thing I can think of is that quotations are usually used to enclose titles of short stories, songs, articles, ect. So nonetheless, I really don't see the need.Mandi Talk 00:31, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I think the quotes are intended to emphasize the fact that the group doesn't really have a name, or at least not one which is ever mentioned. Jimbo Jambo 01:02, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That was most likely the case, but I don't think as the title of an article that they are really needed.Mandi Talk 01:11, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I've added the quotes in - if thats okay... Twilight Princess Midna 14:02, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Tag as fan-created name?

I know they're called the Resistance on the official trading cards, and I still don't get why this article is called "The Group", but barring that, what names should be marked as fan-created names? Dekler 14:20, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This article's title has always bothered me. They don't really have an official name, but "The Group" is stupid, quite frankly. I personally would like to find out if this is really the closest thing we've got to canon. If it is (meaning we have no definitive canon source calling it "The Group") then I'd like to tag it as a conjectural title.User:Justin ZW/sig 05:55, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
In-game, they're only ever known as "a group" or "the group." The only time they're given an actual title is in the official trading cards as Dekler said. As such, I would be in favor of moving this page to Resistance, if for no other reason than its the most commonly used name for the group within the Zelda community (and also having quotation marks in the title is... silly). — Hylian King [*] 12:08, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm in favor too. How does one go about doing that again? Dekler 16:05, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
From the looks of it, "the group" is never used as a title in reference to them; rather, they simply went unnamed. Official trading cards game them a name, so that should be the title used. --SnorlaxMonster 16:33, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Should Link be listed as a Member?

Telma did ask him to join, but because of Link's silent protagonist nature, we can never know if he said yes or not, but I think it's safe to assume he DID say yes. Scorcher9009 (talk) 09:00, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, from a quick glance at the game's script, I didn't see any mention of Telma asking Link to join. When exactly does she ask that? As for your question, I guess it depends. Did the other members of the resistance act like Link was a member or referred to him as such? I guess given that he's helping them, he could be considered a member. - Midoro (T C) 21:16, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
