Yes, the Phantom Hourglass does merge with the Phantom Sword, powering it with the strength to slay Phantoms. However, even with the consolidation of the two, Link still traverses the Temple of the Ocean King under time constraint as if he still had the hourglass in its original form. — cipriano^talk 17:00, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

I'll admit I knew that much, but the thing that confuses me is that it says here that Link awakens on Tetra's ship with the Phantom Hourglass in his pocket. Yes, it does mention the merging in the Phantom Sword article, at least. I may deserve a mention in this one as well in the name of consistency. And that part is true, he does awaken on Tetra's Ship with the hourglass, not the sword; the game does not go into any detail about the item change. — cipriano^talk 02:39, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
