Pig Moblin?

A Pig moblin with a sword;.

I'd say Karuna is one based off his resemblance to the enemy to the right. There was also another Monster character introduced in the manga, Master Drona the Hinox. Delsait (talk) 06:41, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

In the english translation of the manga, Karuna indeed refers to himself as a Pig Warrior, the official localized name for Butablins/Pigblins, confirming him as a moblin. Delsait (talk) 07:34, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That is not what Butablin translates to. It's very likely that he is a Moblin, but it is nonetheless an assumption that we shouldn't take. We can mention it in the article that he very closely resembles a Moblin, but not that he is without any confirmation. - TonyT S C 10:24, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Butablin was localized as Pig Warrior, so Pig Warrior is indeed moblin. Delsait (talk) 10:33, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Provide a source that Karuna actually refers to himself as a Butablin in the original Japanese version of the manga. You are referencing a fan scanlation, not an official translation of the manga. - Midoro (T C) 16:46, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If you want, I can search for Japanese scans but it will be hard. The fact that the translator specifically had Karuna refer to himself specifically as a Pig Warrior as opposed to a Pig Man, or Warrior, suggests the original dialogue was Butablin, so he opted to translate it as Pig Warrior as thats NOA's official translation for pig moblins in Link's Awakening. It does not matter what a fan translation called him, because it is not an official translation by any means. You will need to find Japanese scans of pages specifically calling him a Butablin. That is the only source that will be accepted in this case. - Midoro (T C) 03:38, 11 December 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
