Puzzle

I have heard that many people have trouble with the puzzle on the bottom floor, the one with the levers. Here is how to solve it: The sign gives you 24513 as the answer, but it does not work. To figure it out, let 12345 represent the levers. The number you were given can now be compared to the lever numbers:

24513
12345

The trick here is figuring that the given number is actually the levers in sequence with the order for each. So take the number of the given and compare to that of the levers and write down each number of the levers that correspond to each number in the given number. The resulting sequence is:

41523

And that is the combination for pulling the levers!
If anyone could make this easier for anyone to understand, then perhaps we could add it to the article. It is a really clever puzzle after all. I would have liked it if using 24513 on the levers would cause another Reapling to appear. But that is just me.Emma (Talk) 22:43, July 27, 2008 (UTC)

You can also look at it like this: 2 4 5 1 3
2 Pull the first lever second
4 Pull the second lever fourth
5 Pull the third lever fifth
1 Pull the Fourth lever first
3 Pull the fifth lever third
Or 4 1 5 2 3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joakim EB July 31, 2018 11:38

Merge

In keeping with the consistency of the wiki, these two pages need to be merged. Agreements? Disagreements?Justin(Talk) 21:28, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  1. Other dungeons with the same name are in the same article, like Forest Temple. They are similar enough to go together, and it would help with internal links so that somebody linking to this article wouldn't have to type out the entire name of the game this ship appears in. It's just simple wiki style to merge.Ganondorfdude11 21:57, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes, but all Forest Temples serve at least a similar purpose, while both of these ships actually don't, as stated below, and in their respective articles. If on name alone, of course they should merge, but special attention should be taken to the significant differences between the two. User:Cipriano555/sig 22:32, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
You know we will, man. We're not just going to leave it alone like that :PJustin(Talk) 05:22, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  1. Alright man, while they are both "Ghost Ships" that hold treasure in sea-faring games, I believe there is more reason to keep them separate than to join them. The ships both have drastically different layouts and purposes in both games. The ship in The Wind Waker simply operates as the location of one of the Triforce Charts, while the one in Phantom Hourglass is an actual dungeon, and functions the main plot device of the game, serving as a highly-important ship used by Bellum to attain his victims. And even so, the ships are not linked whatsoever, so placing them on the same page would only pay homage to the name, and no further connection. Because of this, I say nah. Trivia About the Face On the Wall

Are you sure that this is the case? Because I tried it (GCN, NA vesion) and I saw the exactly opposite happening; calm from far and smiling when I am near it. Through the telescope the things are different. I am standing near the ladder, and without zoom it smiles, with zoom it is calm. Gomess_512 (talk) 15:18, 7 August 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It depends on the distance. Once you're inside the room, it smiles, but if you get behind the chest, it stops. - Chuck * (Talk) 22:20, 7 August 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
