I've pulled out the sword the first time, went back in time, and still got the Deku stick and nuts upgrade. I think this is because I have the original version of the game (Muslim chant, and symbol, blood, etc) So if anyone sees this, please state what version of the game you have. So wait, do you mean you both have the same version and you are getting the same results, or what? I'm confused here. I know this is old but Zeldapeida and TV tropes (horrible sources I know) are claiming it's obtatining the Poacher's Saw that locks you out. Lego3400 21:55, 20 June 2011 (EDT)

As horrible as those sources are (and yes, I edit TV Tropes as well), it's true. You can still get the Upgrade after pulling the Master Sword. The reasons are here. I'll see if this one article is updated as well. --K2L (Interrogatory) 22:44, 20 June 2011 (EDT)
