Spike Shards are Items in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Location and Uses

Spike Shards are a tough crystalline Dragon Part that can be found growing around spikes on Dinraal, Farosh, Naydra, and the Light Dragon's backs.[2] Unlike other materials obtained from Dragons, Spike Shards can simply be picked up and do not require Link to hit the Dragon with a Weapon or wait for the Dragon to glow again before more can be obtained. When Fused to Weapons, they grant them Crushing properties and imbue them with an elemental power connected to the Dragon they were obtained from.[2]
