Romio is a character in The Minish Cap.[3]

Biography

Romio lives on the eastern side of Hyrule Town, south of the Happy Hearth Inn, in a purple House. Romio's House is connected to the Girl's House, where his girlfriend Julietta lives, by a small board that Minish can walk across.

Romio is first seen during the Picori Festival; it is his first, and he wonders where the Minish are.[4] Once Link obtains the Kinstone Bag, Romio can be found inside his House, where he remains for the rest of the game.

Romio will mention that his sister, Berry, is at Funday School,[5] and comment on Link's hat (actutally Ezlo) and its strange appearance.[6] After Vaati possesses King Daltus, Romio mentions the intelligence of his Canine, Rolf, and admit that he spoils him.[7] When Link obtains the Ocarina of Wind, Romio disregards the King's strange behavior, claiming it has nothing to do with his love with Julietta.[8] Once Link has obtained the Wind Element, Berry returns to the House, and Romio mentions that she is supposed to stay indoors.[2]

Romio is one of the potential characters to have a random Kinstone Fusion available.[9]

Nomenclature

Romio, along with his girlfriend Julietta, are a reference to a famous William Shakespeare play, Romeo and Juliet.
