Poultry Pilafs are Items in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses

Poultry Pilafs are made by Cooking a Raw Bird Drumstick, Hylian Rice, a Bird Egg, and Goat Butter in a Cooking Pot. Eating them will heal some of Link's Hearts to his Life Gauge. The Hylian Rice is sautéed in poultry broth, and the trick to making these meals is to cook them on low heat until the rice is fluffy.[1]

In Ivee's Diary, Link can find a recipe for Poultry Pilaf.[2] Ivee lists the ingredients as a few Raw Bird Drumsticks, a little bit of Goat Butter, a suitable amount of Hylian Rice, and some Bird Eggs.[3] She asserts that the accuracy of measurements doesn't matter, since it only adds to the flavor.[4]

Link can add a fifth ingredient when making Poultry Pilaf, which can result in the following variations:

  • Hearty Poultry Pilaf:[5] Made by adding a hearty ingredient. When eaten, Link has all of his Hearts healed and gains temporary Hearts.[5]
  • Energizing Poultry Pilaf:[6] Made by adding an energizing ingredient. Link's Stamina Wheel can be partially refilled by eating these.[6]
  • Enduring Poultry Pilaf:[7] Made by adding an enduring ingredient. Eating these pilafs will completely restore and overfill Link's Stamina Wheel.[7]
  • Hasty Poultry Pilaf:[8] Made by adding a hasty ingredient. They can be eaten to boost Link's movement speed.[8]
  • Spicy Poultry Pilaf:[9] Made by adding a spicy ingredient. These pilafs grant Link one level of Cold Resistance when eaten.[9]
  • Electro Poultry Pilaf:[10] Made by adding an electric ingredient. Link gains one level of Shock Resistance when eaten.[10]
  • Mighty Poultry Pilaf:[11] Made by adding a mighty ingredient. When eaten, they will increase the power of Link's attacks.[11]
  • Tough Poultry Pilaf:[12] Made by adding a tough ingredient. Eating them will boost Link's defensive abilities.[12]
  • Sneaky Poultry Pilaf:[13] Made by adding a sneaky ingredient. If consumed, Link will gain a boost to his Stealth.[13]
  • Chilly Poultry Pilaf:[14] Made by adding a chilly ingredient. Eating these pilafs will grant Link one level of Heat Resistance.[14]
