"Messages from an Ancient Era" is a Side Adventure in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview



After completing the second stage of the "Regional Phenomena" Main Quest by awakening one of the Six Sages, a Sky Island falls to the ground and lands in the pond in the southwest of Lookout Landing, drawing the attention of its residents. Wortsworth, the Zonai Survey Team's expert on the Ancient Hyrulean language, inspects it and finds that a Stone Tablet on it contains text dating back to the Founding of the Kingdom of Hyrule.

Objectives

1 A priceless stone tablet engraved with ancient Hyrulean text has fallen from the sky into Lookout Landing. Wortsworth, a scholar of ancient Hyrulean, said he intends to decipher the text by comparing it to ancient documents left at the lab in Kakariko Village.

He's departed for the village in the southeast.
2 It's become clear that there are 13 stone tablets documenting the age of legends. By deciphering all of them, one could learn about the lives of the royal family of that era, which was not documented in any history book.
