Maheli
Maheli is a character in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Biography
Maheli is one of two Koroks that can be found between the Great Deku Tree's roots and a Tooreroof Ruin in Korok Grove during the "Trail of the Master Sword" Main Quest, the other being Jatora. Originally, the pair left Korok Forest with Tasho, Mopu, Nako, Mokka, and Raha to take a walk.[2] When they found that they were unable to return through the Lost Woods, they instead descended through the Minshi Woods Chasm to try and find a way back from the Depths.[2][3]
Initially, they can be seen humming to themself as they think.[4] When Link speaks to Maheli, they explain that they cannot figure out how to reach the Surface from their current position.[5] They theorize that by jumping very high, one would be able to reach Korok Forest, but it would still be impossible to pass through the ceiling.[5][6]
Nomenclature
Maheli's name is derived from mandheling, a variety of Coffee. Their companions are also named after types of coffee.
