"Life Debt" is a Movie in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. It was added in the Guardian of Remembrance Downloadable Content pack.

Overview

"Life Debt" plays following the conclusion of the Scenario "EX The Yiga Clan's Retreat".

Sooga, grievously injured, is supported by Master Kohga as the two continue fleeing. He begs Master Kohga to leave him behind, but Kohga refuses to listen to him. Sooga then has a flashback to the day he met Master Kohga. In search of food, he wandered into a Yiga Clan camp. Upon noticing him, two Yiga Footsoldiers drew their Vicious Sickles and threatened him. However, they were stopped when Master Kohga woke up from his nap. Instead of striking at Sooga, Master Kohga offered him a Mighty Banana and encouraged him to eat. Sooga accepted, and Master Kohga then sat by his side, stating he would have to pay him back someday.

Back in the present, Master Kohga and Sooga are ambushed by the Phantom Ganons. Sooga breaks away from Master Kohga's grasp, and he insists that Kohga must live no matter what happens. After temporarily stunning their opponents, he yells for Master Kohga to run. Although Kohga hesitates, he eventually gives in and leaves Sooga behind. Drawing his Swords of Devotion, Sooga wonders if he has repaid his debt to Master Kohga.
