The Hylian Suit is an Item in Mario Kart 8.[1][2] It was added in Version 3.0.
Location and Uses
The Hylian Suit is a racing suit that can be equipped to any Mii before a cup or race begins. It is primarily green with yellow accents and a chainmail undershirt, being based off of Link's iconic Green Clothes. It has no effect on performance during a race; it is purely decorative.
The Hylian Suit was added in the Version 3.0 update for Mario Kart 8.[3] It could then be unlocked by scanning certain The Legend of Zelda-series amiibo.[which?] It was available to be unlocked under the same conditions in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from release. As of the remaster's Version 3.0.0 update, it can instead be unlocked by scanning any The Legend of Zelda-series amiibo.[4]
