The Giant Mound is an Object in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses

The Giant Mound is located at the edge of Calora Lake. It rests on a cliff overlooking the Ebara Forest and Faron Highroad.

When Link arrives at Calora Lake, he will find Kass there. Kass offers to sing an "Ancient Song" about the area to Link.[2] If Link agrees to listen, Kass sings lyrics that describe a Monk responding from the Giant Mound when Lightning is called down.[1]

Breaking the Giant Mound is required to complete the "A Song of Storms" Shrine Quest. To break the Giant Mound, Link must have it struck by Lightning. This can be done by placing a metallic object, such as a Weapon, Bow, or Shield, on top of it. Once this is done, the Giant Mound will be destroyed, and Qukah Nata Shrine will be revealed.[3]
