"A Picture for Highland Stable" is a Side Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
When Link examines the Empty Frame at Highland Stable, Padok will notice his interest.[2] He reveals that the Stable Association has given it to the Stable in order to display a Picture.[3][4] Having heard a rumor about the Giant White Stallion, Padok wants to display a Picture of it.[5] Although he has heard it can be found near the Lake of the Horse God to the southeast, Padok is hesitant to leave the Stable based on only a rumor.[6] However, he claims he would be able to create a painting from a Picture of the Giant White Stallion.[7] If Link has already registered the Giant White Stallion, Padok will recall that they are looking after such a Horse for him.[8] Afterwards, "A Picture for Highland Stable" will start.
After taking a Picture of the Giant White Stallion with the Camera, Link will be able to show it to Padok.[9] Once he sees the Picture, Padok claims it is what he needed to see, and he asks for Link's permission to copy it.[10][11] If Link agrees, Padok will imagine riding the Giant White Stallion across the plains.[12] He then proceeds to paint the Picture, assuring Link that he is talented enough to replicate it.[13] Upon completing the Picture of the Giant White Stallion, he will declare that it is perfect, and he looks forward to displaying it proudly.[14]
Should Link want to replace the Picture of the Giant White Stallion, Padok offers to do so, as long as a new reference Picture is provided.[15] To reward Link for his assistance, Padok gives him one Pony Point.[16] He also gives Link an Energizing Honey Crepe, which is a specialty of Highland Stable.[17] Padok thanks Link for the Picture, inviting him to use the Stable's facilities whenever he needs.[18] Following this, "A Picture for Highland Stable" will be completed.
