Template:Place This desert lay to the south-east side of Koholint Island in Link's Awakening. Hidden in the sands was a monstrous Lanmola that Link had to defeat to acquire the Angler Key, necessary to access the Angler's Tunnel, which held one of the Eight Instruments of the Sirens.

Appearance: — Yarna Desert is the epitome of a typical desert, with little shrubbery other than cactus, little water, shifting sands, and wind-swept skulls of creatures and people that couldn't escape from the wasteland. There are also huge skulls that resemble a tusked animal, indicating that the desert was once most likely a fertile locale. Now, only evil beasts stalk the desert, attempting to destroy anything located in their domain.

Enemies: — Leever, Pokey, Lanmolas, Pincer

Places of Interest: — Cave with a Heart Piece.Durstwüste
